Issue 1 : Air pollution

- 'What' inspires

* A friend, Jeroen, who was in Singapore for a while last month, brought out this issue of air pollution.

- Too many private cars on the street have caused air pollution. 

- Information received : a research is being done by the Dutch (a research of "air-purifying" concrete, asphalt that absorbs the pollution)

*An advertisement in Singapore (encouraging the citizens to use public transport to reduce air pollution)

*Idea :

Artificial Photosynthesis

- Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is one of the air pollutants.

- Plants need CO2 during the day to perform photosynthesis and produce Oxygen and Carbohydrate with the help of water and sunlight.

- Using Artificial Photosynthesis to convert the air pollutant, CO2 to O2.
