Light Array

Light in Series Connection

* In series connection, V (Voltage) is divided.
* To light up 2 LEDs, 3 volts are not enough. One LED only gets 1.5 volts.
* 3 x 1.5 volts battery (4.5 volts) is used. One LED gets 2.25 volts and it is enough to light up an LED.

* Array of 6 orange super bright LEDs to increase the effect.

* Using 4 x 1.5 volts battery (6 volts in total).
* Not enough power, one LED only gets 1 volt.

* Using a 9 volts battery.
* Not enough power, one LED gets 1.5 volts. Light is visible but it is too dim.

* Using a 12 volts battery.
