Reverse Switch

Wearable Technologies - Soft Switch

* Pictures taken by Aisyah.
* Creating a reverse soft switch ('ON' when it is not pressed, 'OFF' when it is pressed)
* 2 pieces of cloth, with wire fabric sewn on top of them.

* Connecting the (+) power supply to one of the cloth, the (-) goes to the other cloth.

* an LED and a 100 Ω resistor are attached in the (-) cloth.
* When the wire is connected (pressed mode), the current will find the 'convenient' way.
* Power supply (+) runs into the wire and back to (-).
* If the wire is disconnected, the (+) current runs through its own wire (wire on (+) cloth) and continue to LED and resistor and back to (-), which results the LED to light up, because there is a current running.

* LED lights up when it is not pressed.

* LED is 'OFF' when the soft switch is pressed.
